Ocado Andover Temperature Controlled CFC

The project consisted of construction of a new single envelope warehouse to provide a new automated and temperature controlled customer fulfilment centre for an internet based food and non food retailer. The project was executed on a design and build basis, with MPL staff involved from Concept through planning and into completion to ensure that all aspects of the project requirements were fully integrated.

The building incorporated the OSP grid system with an extensive hive located in both ambient and temperature controlled spaces.

The MHE installation also included vertical transportation, cross temperature pick stations along with other forms of conveyors as well as automated storage, retrieval and picking systems.
